Welcome to Carlton Cricket Club
Carlton is one of Scotland's leading cricket clubs, playing in the Scottish premier league. We run 4 adult teams, 3 junior teams, a Sunday Friendly XI and have a thriving junior coaching programme. In all, more than 400 members pay to play and watch their cricket at Grange Loan, Edinburgh - undoubtedly one of Scotland's most beautiful grounds.
In this site you can find out more about our club and our players, discover the benefits of becoming a member at Carlton and find out how to hire the facilities at Grange Loan. We're also keen to explain the range of commercial opportunities available to Carlton sponsors.
The lead up to a big weekend of cricket was dominated by talk of the weather. As it turned out, an unexpected break in the rain enabled two dry days of cricket at Grange Loan and two victories.
On Saturday the veterans of our 1988 title winning side enjoyed the perfect day – an excellent lunch, a day of reminiscing and a ringside seat as Carlton won a thrilling tussle against old rivals Grange.
